COVID-19 has had a considerable impact on global tourism and the nature of tourism research. At this conference, the theme will be “Transforming Tourism Research: Reshape, Rethink, Renew, Regenerate, Restart”. CTR researchers and CTR Visiting Fellows will present their research and interact with tourism researchers from around the world in attendance. There will also be four prominent Japan-based senior scholars presenting keynotes including Prof. Etsuko Higashi (Wakayama University), Prof. Carolin Funck (Hiroshima University), Prof. Philip Seaton (Tokyo University of Foreign Studies) and Associate Prof. Susanne Klien (Hokkaido University).
